Bladex Structures USD 1.0 Billion Loan for the Republic of Panama

Bladex (NYSE: BLX) announced the structuring of a senior loan for up to USD 1.0 billion for the Republic of Panama, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), with proceeds to be used for the country’s general budgetary purposes.

This transaction provides the Republic of Panama with timely access to funding under competitive terms, while diversifying its sources of financing.
